The melon photo was taken today in Gabriel's garden, interesting method he's got going here... and the tomatoes are in his garden too. We're thankful to God for the bounteous harvest of food for our family's table!
The method Gabe's using for growing mellon is actually a real smart one! :) It will assure they keep their beautiful shape and are much less apt to rot! :) The same can be done with cucumbers, and squash! One can grow the perfect jack-o-lantern this way to avoid having flat sides or wear marks! That's great! :) Tell him I give him 2 thumbs up!! :) How long is your growing season there, and how early do you usually start? It seems your garden is way ahead of ours here in western WA! :)

Amen, I love having a vegetable garden, perhaps this fall I can finally plant food.
