Family Home Evening was split last night-- some of the older kids brought the three little ones to the annual Lions Club Christmas party for children with special needs, where they ate pizza and got to see Santa and were each given a present. Lora told me it was fun to see the kids respond, each in their own way and each so cute! Timmy went right up to Santa as soon as he saw him there. Ella didn't want to sit on Santa's lap this year but loved running around. Joel hid his face but upon opening his present he was thrilled to see 3 new Veggie Tales movies and showed them to everyone who would look! Timmy got Little People animals but was crazy about pushing Ella's little stroller and doll around and didn't even want to let go of it to get in his carseat afterwards. Ella had fun with the wrappings. :o)
Papa and I and Robin took a trip to visit a friend in the hospital and then brought Robin back to her school home. The visit with each of them was priceless.
The Thanksgiving break is over and winter is in full force! The very best part of winter is Christmas. God is blessing us with the light of Christmas already. I am filled with gratitude and awe at the love my Savior shows to me and my family!
I am thankful!

I've been gone for a month, to UT, helping Sheana with their new baby! :) So I'm trying to catch up with all that's been going on with you and your family! :)
I know what you mean about the light and joy that fills hearts as we contemplate the birth of our Savior! :) Christmas is my favorite time of winter, too! :) In fact, it's my favorite holiday! I'm taking down Thanksgiving decorations and am putting up Christmas, as fast as my tired body will let me! :)
Alot happened in UT, with Sheana ending up having emergency C-section, and Troy ending up sick in ICU! I was so glad I was there to help! :) They are fine now! :)
But countless nights with little sleep, and the long drive home, has taken it's tole! :) Now that I'm home in my own bed I just can't seem to get enough sleep! :)
Tired, or not, the wonderful joy that comes when we celebrate our Savior's birth, is filling my soul with light and gratitude! :)
"Joy to the world, the Savior's come!"..."Let every heart prepair Him room!"..."Let Heaven and Nature Sing!" :)
Love to you and yours! :)
You've got a grandbaby! HURRAY!!! Congratulations!
Tell me all about it! What is baby's name? How are they doing? Pictures? I've been missing you!
Thank you for your comment, you understand my feelings so well. And thanks for letting me know where you've been! So glad you were there to help!
Keep hitting refresh on the blog, I've been updating, more news to come in the next few days! :o)
Love you dear cousin,
Dolores
My little Sweet-Pea's name is Brennan!! :) How I love and miss him! :) Last night he was making sounds in the background when Sheana called to visit, and Rud and I pressed our ears to the phone to hear his little voice!! :)
If you'd like you can check out my page on Facebook to see him! :) I'd LOVE to accept you as my facebook friend!! :)
One day I hope to figure out how to post pictures and start a family blog! :) Untill then, I'm using Facebook, and Sheana and Cal have been helping me post photos!
Love you too!! :) Big squeeze coming your way! Hope you can feel it!! :) XO
