We received the referral the day before Thanksgiving. Heavenly Father had even arranged for her to be born on Ella's birthday! A few of you may understand the great significance of that to us.
We've shed tears in realizing it was all carefully and marvelously orchestrated by our God who knows what is best for all.
We were able to visit her once at one week of age and brought her home yesterday at nearly two weeks old. We stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers us!
We've named our new daughter "Lucy Noel", in His honor, meaning "the Light of Christmas".
Welcome home, Lucy!

I remember hearing you mention that you would like another baby girl so Ella could have a sister! Still, I was amazed to suddenly hear that it has happened!! :) I bet Ella is excited, as well as the rest of your family! :) She looks precious! :) I love all the pictures, and expecially love the one of the two of you dressed in red! :) It seems to ring out with Christmas joy and suits her name as well as the gift she is for your family! :)
